1) Double Deduction
(Effective YA 2009 to YA 2012)
  • Approved training institutions such as International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) and Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC).
  • Post graduate courses in information communication and technology (ICT), electronics and life sciences.
  • Post basic courses in nursing and allied health care.
  • Aircraft maintenance engineering courses.
2) Withholding tax exemption
(Effective 30/08/2008 to 31/12/2012)
  • Income received by providing technical training services in the above fields by non-resident experts.
